So today i am doing a review on a product that i have been loving for the past few weeks , it is the Everyday minerals "semi matte base ".
The Everyday minerals Semi matte base i supposed to give a moisturizing silk to satin finish and, a full coverage.
Everyday minerals only uses natural ingredients to make they´re products and they also have a no animal testing policy which i think is awesome.
Read on to see some more photos and my review :)
First i wanna say that i am totally IN LOVE with this product. I have tried the Bare mineral foundation in the past, but in my opinion this one is a lot better and it is also a lot cheaper .
One of the things that makes me prefer this foundation from the bare mineral one is that it doesn´t contains any Bismuth Oxychloride which can make your skin feel kinda dry and itchy.
Not everyone does react this way to this ingredient, but i do and it is one of the reasons why i prefer everyday minerals, and even if i absolutely love other bare mineral products i am just not a big fan of they´re foundation.
The other things that make me prefer this foundation is the color range (which is HUGE) and the fact that they have different finishes ( unfortunately i have only tried semi matte so i cant tell anything about the others).
I bough my foundation in the shade medium which was a perfect match for my light kinda pinkish skin tone , i also picked the semi matte finish, and i am really glad i did, i don´t now anything about the other finishes but this one is perfect not to glowy and not to matte ( which i think is perfect for every type of skin ).
The foundation actually does feels kinda creamy and moisturizing ones you have applied it, i love how the texture just blends into the skin, and becomes invisible leaving your skin looking perfectly beautiful and natural.
The only negative thing is the coverage, if you go to they´re website you will see that it stands full coverage, personally i fell like it is more of a medium coverage foundation .
When i tried it the first time i was so disappointed, i was expecting a prefect and flawless full coverage but it wasn't there, you could steel see the most of the redness in my face.
Even if the first try was kinda of a flop i decided to try it using different methods, and the one that works the best for me is taking a flat top kabuki brush ( i use the everyday minerals one) an dip it into the product and then dot it onto my face, ones i have my face covered with dots i blend in the foundation using a circular motion.
This is the only way for me to get a full coverage, and sins i have figured out how it works i have been using it as my everyday foundation and i adore it, i feel like it is the best foundation i have ever tried.
You can find it at www.everydayminerals.com if you live in the US and at cocktailcosmetics.co.uk if you live in Europe.
i hope you found this review usefull.
Bye guys :)
You can apply the foundation wet to get better coverage. Hope this helps! :)
